Frog on a Cross


Winter's snow remained in the shadowy places when we found this little guy during a May 2004 day trip exploring the back roads of the Cascade Mountains. So small, so fragile – he paused just long enough to smile and let me take his picture.

Amazing –– the life that springs forth following a merciless winter.
