Faithful Father

This glorious sunset decorated the first of two skies over our anniversary weekend celebration camping in the Ochoco Mountains, August 2005. Prior to our Lord bringing us together, my husband and I had endured the painful devastations to our hearts, lives and families inflicted by death and divorce. Jesus Christ is the God of second chances. He makes all things new.

“‘For the mountains may depart and the hills disappear, but even then I will remain loyal to you.
My covenant of blessing will never be broken,' says the LORD, who has mercy on you.” Isaiah 54:10 NLT

Heaven awaits us where every tear will be wiped away. Until then, our world can be shaken to the core. Quakes and storms can lash out with such fury changing everything familiar and cherished. Yet our Heavenly Father remains true to hold our hearts steady, care for us, and provide new life with hope eternal. And He even bestows a little bit of heaven on earth… just to keep our eyes looking up… just to encourage us to continue… just to love on us.
Let Him love on you.

The reduced resolution for this web site image greatly obscures the scripture reference placed in the upper left corner of this image, which remains subtle in the actual image, yet clearly readable at reading distance from the picture. It is the first sentence of the verse in Isaiah quoted above.
