Bee Content

This bee and I mutually appreciated these pretty little wildflowers on a back road in the Oregon Cascade Mountains, late summer 2004. The little laborer's world must be so different from mine, yet in some ways, quite similar. We have our work to do to care for our family. And God provides faithfully, even amply for us both.

I can't begin to imagine the chaos that would erupt in the world if God removed His order, rhyme and reason.

I shudder to imagine the chaos that would erupt in my heart without Him.

"There is nothing better for man than to eat, drink and to enjoy his work ... I have seen that even this is from God's hand ... For who can eat and who can enjoy life ... apart from Him?"
